People-pleasing is a prison.

People-pleasing is a prison.

A cell that we put ourselves in.

One that we're often too afraid to break out of.

We cage our true selves away, only letting the world see what we think they want to see.

And it's exhausting.

So, if you're feeling like you're stuck in a likeability prison, ask yourself this:

"What would I do if I didn't care what people thought of me?"

The answer might just set you free.
